British Birds

NORFOLK WILDLIFE — Posted by norfolkgirl @ 06:36

How long ago was it when you last went outside early morning and heard the down chorus all the birds singing together and what a song they sing I love to hear them but sadly you dont hear them now so often. If you feed the bird in your garden please go just that little bit further and make a bird box for the birds as Tesco said every little helps. Here is a nest box you can make.

So click on this link and it will help you make one and help the birds. http://www.beautifulbritain.co.uk/htm/wildlife_gardening/sparrow_terrace.html

Here is a house sparrow and i could always hear them in are farm yard churruping but not so much this last five or six years.

New homes are built now with pvc board and guttering and seal out the birds from nesting there. Not like years ago were bird could nest in the rafters or the eves of houses so all the more reason to build your nest box for them ok.

The garage

NORFOLK WILDLIFE — Posted by norfolkgirl @ 06:36

Well what about this for living in the country. My dog comes to my bedroom and wakes me on the dot at 4'clock every morning and when i open my eyes and look at him i say were the rabbits and he puts his feet up on my window sill and looks all around outside. He then starts growling and jumps up and down as he gets so excited when sees with no exaggeration fourty to fifty rabbits outside my bedroom window. They feed on the grass while my dog bark's at them and sit on there back legs and clean there ears with there front feet and take no notice of him at all. When i went outside to take my dog for a walk at about five am we saw a muntjac deer in the garage next to the car.You would have thought it would have ran the other way and gone behind us but know it came out of the garage and ran towards us and passed us in the drive way and across the next door neighbours lawn and out onto the lane and across the field to the wood thats what living in the country is all about i love it.

Country Walk

NORFOLK WILDLIFE — Posted by norfolkgirl @ 10:28

Picture the scene it is ten o'clock on a lovely warm night and six fields of set a side grass to walk over to the river. No one in sight for miles around just the birds coming in to roost for the night and the rabbits running over the fields and owls looking for there prey. It is getting dark and the rabbits are running to hide in there burrows as my dog chases after them. The night predators are already out and i can see a barn owl hovering over it's prey. I am now in the second of the set a side fields and there is a load squeal a rabbit has just lost it's fight for life as a fox takes it away for it's tea. The phesants are flying into the top of the trees to roost for the night and most of the bird now have gone to make way for the night predators. Two fields over and i can see six large deer just out of the woods feeding and they so far have not seen us. A pair of mallard ducks fly over and make there way to the river. It is so nice and warm im going to take my cloths off and walk the last two field in the nude as it is so warm and nice out here. when we got to the river i put my toes in the water and it felt lovely and warm so i went in and just swam around for a time. I called my dog but he did not like the thought of the water and stayed on the bank. I could hear the deer calling out and the owls but nothing else it was so peaceful and still. When i got out of the water and looked at my watch it said eleven thirty and so i must get home as they will worry about me. I picked my cloths up and carried them for a while so i dried off in the lovely warm air. About two fields over and i stopped to get dressed and then made my way back home. It was the best walk i think i have ever been on and the best time of day as it is so still and private out there in the dark of the night.

The countryside and wildlife were i live

I am really lucky to have lots of wildlife all around were i live.At the bottom of are garden in an old shed live a pair of barn owls and every year they rear young. At dusk every night you can see them over the field looking for small rodents.

A quarter of a mile down the lane and over the river wissey you will see red deer and foxes running all over the set a side land.

The Deer run all over the roads in the village and it's a wonder they dont get run over by a car or lorry.

Naked in the country side

NORFOLK WILDLIFE — Posted by norfolkgirl @ 17:19

I love to take my clothes off outside and also pose for pictures for my boyfriend. Outside pictures of you naked always look better than pictures taken in doors. On a hot summer day i like to walk at least five miles down the river and along the bank and then i know i am far enough away so i strip off all my cloths and lay in the sun as nature in intended us to be. No one ever walks this far down the river as they are mostly to lazy to walk the distance so i make the most of that and only the birds and animals see me. Naked outside in the freash air and with wildlife all around you there is nothing like it. If you want to find out more please look in karen naked

Just a little advice if you go out in the nude for a walk in a wood look out for love bitting nats they got me all over.
